Rents in the Georgian Terraces Affordable Housing apartments will be set at no more than the average for the area, as determined in the government's annual rent survey.

Tenants will have to pay at least 30% of income on rent, at the time they move-in.  If the household income is at a level where rents would be less than 30% of income at the time of move-in, the household would not qualify for a unit.

For example, if the rent was $674.00 per month, your income could be no more than $26,960 per year.

Utilities, cable, and telephone would be above rent charges.

Suite Layouts and finishes information are available at the Georgian Village Sales Centre, 23 Harriet St., Penetanguishene.  

However, the application process and suite assignment process will not begin until approximately 8 months prior to occupancy.  A detailed 'Waiting List' is being assembled and participants will be contacted on a first come, first serve basis once the process begins.
